Voluntary Contributions and Charges 2024

The partnership between schools and parents is vital; and financial support by parents has always played a significant role in providing resources that extends the school’s capacity to add value to the learning experiences of our students.

Contributions are voluntary; however the quality of our teaching and learning programs will be maximised when each family makes a contribution to supplement funding gained from other sources, including the State and Commonwealth Governments. Contributions collected at Baldivis Gardens Primary School contribute to buying resources to support student learning.

The Baldivis Gardens Primary School Board has endorsed the schedule of contributions, personal items and additional costs for 2023 under the School Education Act 1999.

The voluntary school contribution for Years K - 6 has been set at $60 per student.

A discount will apply to families with three or more students.

A billing statement will be issued to parents at the commencement of the 2023 school year detailing school voluntary contributions for each student.

Voluntary Contributions can be paid in full or by instalments.

Our preferred method of payment is via Qkr Mastercard App (please see below).

Please refer to our 2024 Contributions and Charges for full details of contributions and charges.

Payments for Excursions and In-School Activities

Charges for excursions and activities will be charged to the student’s accounts prior to events taking place. Parents will receive details of the excursion/activity, the cost and a permission slip which must be signed and returned to the school with payment. Payment for each excursion/ activity must be paid prior to the event.

To assist parents with the payment of excursions, there is an option to pay an ‘upfront excursion payment’ at the beginning of the year. This amount will be applied to the student’s account as a credit and as each excursion occurs, the amount payable will be automatically deducted from the student’s credit balance. If the upfront payment is made parents are not required to send in money throughout the year for individual excursions.

At the end of the year if a credit remains on the student’s upfront account, parents may either request to have the amount refunded to them or opt to rollover the amount into the student’s upfront account for the following year.

Should a student leave the school, any credit balance will be refunded.
