Message from the Principal

Baldivis Gardens Primary School opened in 2017 with 219 students and over the last three years we have grown in numbers and  gained a reputation for our positive school culture and excellent academic achievement and student progress. We now have approximately 470 students attending our school from Kindergarten to Year 6. We work collaboratively with our School Board, our staff, our parents and the wider community to nurture each of our students in a safe and supportive learning environment, resulting in our students thriving and our school community flourishing.

I am committed to our school providing a rich curriculum with a focus on the development of the ‘whole child’ including their physical, social, emotional and academic needs. I select staff who share my commitment and it is a privilege to work alongside such exemplary and professional staff. I have absolute confidence in their capacity to make our Vision a reality and positively influence the lives of the students they teach. Our motto ‘Nurture Grow Thrive’ reflects our commitment to individual student growth and development in a nurturing environment and our GROW ethos (Gain Knowledge, Respect Others, Own your Actions, Work Hard) gives direction and guidance to both our students and our staff.

We have a very clear strategic focus in ‘The Garden’. Literacy and Numeracy achievement is our priority, as is creating a learning environment that is orderly and structured, with high expectations, clear boundaries and a focus on the individual needs of our students.  Over the last three years our strategic direction has been outlined in our school’s Business Plan 2020 – 2022 . This Business Plan has now been revised and reviewed by our staff and the School Board and this is reflected in our Business Plan 2023 – 2025 . I look forward to leading the Baldivis Gardens school community as we implement our new strategic plan and continue to provide exemplary public school education for the students living in our local area.
