Please find attached Parent Communication Week 4 and some photos of our busy week.
I have included some photos of swimming lessons, our Walk to School Breakfast and some photos of our Year 5 and 6 students enjoying their Science lesson.
The Year Sixes finished their learning about chemical and physical changes by making elephant toothpaste. When the materials were mixed they made a warm foam. The Year Fives finished their unit on adaptions by learning about mimicry. They acted as hunters trying to hunt sweet viceroy butterflies amongst the sour monarch butterflies. Unfortunately for the predators , mimicry is an effective adaption. Many of the students were not successful at catching a sweet viceroy meal.
Was Science ever that much fun when you went to school ? Your children are very fortunate to have a Specialist Science Program and we look forward to inviting you into the Science Laboratory very soon when Mrs Raphael will let you share in the Science fun!
Have a great week everyone. And if you hear of parents having trouble with Connect can you help them please or direct them to the front office. We want everyone to be connected!
