Baldivis Gardens PS opened its doors in 2017 and in this short time we have gained a reputation for a culture of high care – high performance. We work alongside the Board, the staff, the parents and the wider community to nurture students in a safe and supportive learning environment resulting in students who thrive and a community that flourishes. I am delighted that our parent community acknowledges that we cannot do this on our own and our parents share the responsibility for the achievement of our vision.
I am committed to providing a rich curriculum with a focus on the development of the ‘whole child’ including their physical, social, emotional and academic needs. I select staff who share my commitment and it is a privilege to work alongside such exemplary and professional staff. I have absolute confidence in their capacity to make our vision a reality. Our motto ‘Nurture Grow Thrive’ reflects our commitment to individual student growth and development in a nurturing environment and our GROW ethos (Gain Knowledge, Respect Others, Own your Actions, Work Hard) gives direction and guidance to both our students and our staff.
We have a very clear strategic focus at Baldivis Gardens. Literacy and Numeracy achievement is our priority, as is creating a learning environment that is orderly and structured, with high expectations and clear boundaries. This strategic direction is clearly outlined in our school’s Business Plan 2017 – 2019 which has been recently released to our school community.
